Maestro Angulo has written some works where viola has a principal character, like this Beatles Concerto that we are listening to, with the composer playing the soloist part. The concert was premiered in 2011, into the celebrations for his 50 years in music, it is written in three movements and has fifteen themes of The Beatles; it is a way to combine popular music with symphony music. The sound of the viola with the orchestra is incredible, for example in the song 'Yesterday'.
The music of this composer always has melodies that remember us the Mexican music, in YouTube, we can find some videos like The Mexican Suit, Rascapango, and Paseos for Guitar and String trio.
